Over 500 people gathered in 3 counties to address the housing crisis and other local issues


 

On November 8th, Fox River Valley Initiative (FRVI) leaders in Kane County, Illinois, which includes the second-largest city in the State, kicked off a rebuilding effort with representatives from 21 institutions, including three new member institutions. Commitments made by the State Representative and the Mayor to reopen a recently closed Crisis Stabilization Center for people experiencing a mental health crisis, as well as address funding and approval processes to expand housing developments affordable for essential workers and people with special needs.
