Nearly 300 people from 31 institutions connected with the Forsyth County IAF Sponsoring Committee turned out to affirm their commitment to launching a new citizen’s power organization affiliated with the IAF in 2025. After engaging 1,056 people in listening sessions, delegations voted to prioritize three pressing themes for research action: 

1. Quality affordable housing,
2. Education and youth programs, and 
3. Mental healthcare access

Also, 193 leaders committed to attending a series of civic academies and trainings on the new priorities, including power analysis, research actions, and how to organize effective campaigns.
