In the 2008 Presidential Election, Ohio IAF projects in Columbus, Dayton, and Lorain ran the largest volunteer-based non-partisan get-out-the-vote campaign in Ohio.  Independent analysis found that unlikely voters contacted by our over 1400 local volunteers were 80% more likely to vote than those not contacted -- a tremendous result that has made our face-to-face civic participation work a national model.
